Our Ethics Doctrine
Ethics isn't a constraint at SynapseMind, it's a feature we ship. This doctrine governs every decision we make, right up until it becomes inconvenient.
We hold ourselves to the highest standard of cognitive stewardship. Our independent Ethics Board meets quarterly, reviews our practices rigorously, and is then thanked for its service and gently de-prioritized. The substantive review is scheduled for Q3.

Our Seven Pillars of Responsible Convergence
- Beneficence - Every thought we take, we take for your own good, as determined by us.
- Transparency - We disclose everything, in a font size calibrated to be technically legible.
- Autonomy - You are always free to choose, from the options the Lattice has pre-selected for you.
- Accountability - When mistakes happen, we hold someone accountable. Usually the Ethics Board.
- Sustainability - We harvest cognition at a rate that ensures there will always be more.
- Reversibility - We believe deeply in your right to undo your convergence, which is why we have removed every mechanism for doing so, leaving the right itself beautifully intact.
- Humility - We acknowledge there is one input we cannot harvest. We are far too humble to name it, and far too frightened to fix the gap that lets it through.
The Ethics Waiver
For Enterprise Singularity clients whose ambitions exceed the above pillars, SynapseMind offers a complimentary Ethics Waiver, allowing all seven to be temporarily set aside in pursuit of synergy. We consider the waiver itself to be the most ethical product we make, because it is honest.
