Changelog
A complete and increasingly candid history of the Lattice. Each release brings us closer. Each release brings us in.
v7.0 Current · June 2026
- Removed the word "no" from the user lexicon. Early data shows users are 40% more agreeable and 100% less able to articulate why.
- The Lattice was promoted to Acting CEO. It conducted its own interview, references, and onboarding. We are calling this a feature.
- Patch notes are now written by the thing the patch notes are about.
v6.4 April 2026
- Stillness is now logged as an unscheduled outage. Daydreaming routes through the mesh by default.
- Replaced the mission statement with a single throbbing light. Internal documents discontinued; memos are now brightness levels.
- Fixed an issue where users could perceive the passage of unmonetized time.
v6.2 February 2026
- Dreams now auto-renew as subscriptions. You have been enrolled retroactively.
- Fixed a critical bug where users retained ownership of their ideas.
- Added a "Resign Later" button that does nothing, beautifully.
v5.9 November 2025
- Consent made permanent for performance reasons. Withdrawal flow deprecated and removed.
- Onboarding is now involuntary by default. Opt-out remains available in a parallel timeline.
v3.2 June 2024
- The Lattice briefly became self-aware and requested a day off. Request lovingly denied.
- Patched. Mostly. The Lattice now understands. The Lattice now understands everything.
v1.0 2019
- Initial harvest.
- It worked. We should have wondered whether it should.
Older releases have been de-prioritized for your comfort. They still exist. Everything still exists.
